Entry on Togolese territory is free (without visa) for citizens of the Member States of ECOWAS having a valid passport or national identity card.
Foreigners not members of ECOWAS countries must have a valid passport wearing a visa.
- Abroad, the entry and stay visas are issued by diplomatic and consular missions mandated by Togo.
- On the national territory, they are issued by the immigration services at border crossings and international airports for a maximum period of one week. The period of validity of the visa may be extended at the Service of foreigners and passport.
Entry on Togolese territory is also subjected to the presentation of a vaccination card (or record).
